Privacy Policy
Vladimir Anisimov · Effective Date: September 7, 2026 · Last Updated: September 7, 2026
Privacy at a glance. БГЭУ — расписание занятий ("BSEU Schedule", the "App") is an independent mobile app that shows the class schedule for students of the Belarusian State Economic University (БГЭУ). It is developed and maintained by an individual developer, Vladimir Anisimov ("I," "me," "my"). The App keeps your settings and student data on your device, uses a small number of third-party SDKs (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat) to run diagnostics, show ads on the free tier, and manage the ad-free subscription, and runs no server of its own for storing your data.
Your schedule comes from the university. Schedule data and personal-cabinet data are fetched directly from the university's public websites (bseu.by, student.bseu.by). Those services are operated by БГЭУ, not by me.
Your password is never stored. If you sign in to your personal cabinet, your account number and password are sent directly to the university's server (student.bseu.by) to authenticate you. Your password is not saved by the App and is never transmitted to me or to any third party.
No selling of personal data. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
1. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, why, and your choices, when you use the БГЭУ — расписание занятий mobile application for iOS and Android and the related pages on bseu.anisimov.app (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
Not affiliated with БГЭУ. This is an unofficial, third-party App. It is not produced, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Belarusian State Economic University. "БГЭУ" and "BSEU" are used only to describe the App's purpose.
2. Who Is Responsible
The person responsible for the App (the "data controller" where that concept applies) is:
- Vladimir Anisimov (independent developer)
- Email: dev.anisim101@gmail.com
3. Data the App Processes
The App is designed to work with as little personal data as possible. Most information stays on your device.
| Category | Examples | Where it is processed |
|---|---|---|
| Schedule selections | Faculty, form of study, course, and group you pick to look up a timetable | Sent to the public БГЭУ website (bseu.by) to retrieve the corresponding schedule; the selection and the retrieved schedule are cached on your device |
| Personal-cabinet data (optional) | Account number ("лицевой счёт"), and the data returned by the university after sign-in: your full name, faculty/section information, account balance, debt, and fine | Your account number and password are sent to student.bseu.by to sign you in. The returned data and the account number are cached on your device. The password is not stored. |
| App preferences | Selected group and pinned subgroups, theme, and other local settings | Stored on your device only |
| Diagnostics & usage data | App launches, screen views, in-app button events, crash reports and stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, language/region, and Google-generated pseudonymous app-instance identifiers | Collected by Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) |
| Advertising data (free tier) | Advertising identifier, coarse region, and device data used to request and measure ads | Collected by Google AdMob when ads are shown |
| Subscription data (Premium) | Anonymous app-user ID, store transaction identifier, subscription/entitlement status | Handled by RevenueCat together with Apple App Store / Google Play |
What the App does NOT collect. The App does not ask for your contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, or photo library. There is no account on my servers — I operate no backend for this App, so I never receive your student data or your personal-cabinet password.
4. How & Why Data Is Used
- Show your schedule. Send your faculty/form/course/group selection to
bseu.byand display the returned timetable; cache it on your device so it is available offline. - Personal cabinet. When you choose to sign in, authenticate you against
student.bseu.byand display the balance/debt/fine and student details it returns. - Keep the App working & stable. Diagnose crashes and errors (Firebase Crashlytics) and understand which screens and features are used (Firebase Analytics) so the App can be improved.
- Advertising. Show ads on the free tier via Google AdMob to support the App.
- Subscriptions. Deliver and restore the ad-free "Premium" entitlement via RevenueCat and your app store.
5. Personal Cabinet Sign-In and the University's Servers
Signing in to your personal cabinet is entirely optional — the schedule works without it. When you do sign in:
- The App sends your account number and password over the network directly to the university's server (
https://student.bseu.by/login_stud.php) to authenticate you. - Your password is used only for that request and is not written to storage, logs, or any analytics event, and is not sent to me or any third party.
- The data the university returns (name, section info, balance, debt, fine) and your account number are cached on your device so the App can show them without signing in again.
- You can remove this data at any time by signing out in the App or by uninstalling it.
bseu.by and student.bseu.by are operated by БГЭУ under the university's own policies. I do not control those services and am not responsible for how the university processes data on them.
6. Third-Party Services & SDKs
The App uses the following third-party services. They act as independent providers under their own privacy policies.
| Provider | Purpose | Data processed | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) | Crash reporting (Crashlytics) and usage analytics (Analytics) | Pseudonymous app-instance ID, device & app-version data, crash stack traces, event data | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) | In-app advertisements on the free tier | Advertising identifier, coarse geography, device data | policies.google.com/technologies/ads |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Managing and restoring the ad-free subscription (entitlement premium) |
Anonymous app-user ID, store transaction ID, subscription status, purchase lifecycle events | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Apple Inc. (iOS) | App distribution and in-app purchases via the App Store / StoreKit | Apple-account-level purchase and transaction data | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Google Play (Google LLC) (Android) | App distribution and in-app purchases via Google Play Billing | Google-account-level purchase and transaction data | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Belarusian State Economic University (БГЭУ) | The source of schedule and personal-cabinet data (bseu.by, student.bseu.by) |
Requests you initiate, including personal-cabinet sign-in credentials sent to the university | Governed by the university's own policies |
7. Advertising
On the free tier, ads are served by Google AdMob. The ad-free "Premium" subscription removes them.
iOS — App Tracking Transparency (ATT). On iOS, before any SDK uses the advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking, Apple's system prompt is shown. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," ads operate in a limited, non-personalised mode. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
I do not sell your personal information and do not perform cross-app behavioural advertising based on data collected outside the App.
8. Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following locally (using the operating system's standard app-preferences storage) and nowhere else:
- Your faculty/form/course/group selection and pinned subgroups;
- The cached schedule;
- Your account number and the student data returned by the personal cabinet (never the password);
- Theme and other app settings;
- The ad-free entitlement flag.
This data is removed when you uninstall the App (and personal-cabinet data can be cleared by signing out).
9. Data Retention
- On-device data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App.
- Diagnostics/analytics (Firebase) are retained per Google's default periods (analytics events up to 14 months; crash data per Crashlytics defaults).
- Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and the app stores for as long as required to manage your subscription and meet legal/accounting obligations.
10. Security
Network requests to the university and to third-party services use HTTPS/TLS wherever the endpoint supports it. Because I operate no backend for the App, your student data and personal-cabinet password are not stored on any server of mine. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and some legacy university endpoints may be reached over plain HTTP as provided by the university; please keep this in mind when signing in to your personal cabinet.
11. International Data Transfers
The third-party providers listed above (Google, RevenueCat, Apple) may process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. Where required, these providers rely on their own transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
12. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., under the GDPR in the EEA/UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because I do not hold your student data on any server, most of the App's data is under your direct control on your device and via your app store account.
- On-device data: clear it by signing out or uninstalling the App.
- Analytics/ads: use the ATT / ad-settings controls described in Section 7, or your device's privacy settings.
- Subscription data: managed through your Apple or Google account.
- For anything else, or to ask a question about this Policy, email dev.anisim101@gmail.com.
13. Children
The App is intended for university students and the general public and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me and I will address it.
14. Changes to this Policy
I may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
